Oh No-ah! Emma Watson Got Sick On The Set Of Noah After Director Banned WHAT?! You Won't Believe What He Told Her!
Director Darren Aronofsky is irrefutably an amazing director, but this sounds a bit too far — one of his stars, Emma Watson, fell ill because he thought it was a good idea to ban bottled water to stay in tune with the film's environmental concerns.Emma plays Noah's adopted daughter Ila, and filming can be harsh — especially when you're shooting a big budget fantasy epic, with some shoots taking place at 4 am.
It was during those scenes that Emma was "tired and delirious" on set, and so thirsty that she accidentally drank a mug of stagnant water!
We get the idea behind this, but you better be ready to fill the void that plastic bottles of water leave behind once banned! It sounds like responsible irresponsibility!
Emma revealed how sick she got on set, saying:
"Because of the storm, Douglas [Booth] and I ended up shooting most of our scenes between 4am and 7am - and at that time I never function well. Because the film has a pro-environment message, Darren didn't want anyone drinking from plastic water bottles on set either. So that made things slightly harder. Everything we used had to be recycled or recyclable. Having no water bottles on set at five in the morning, when you're exhausted and delirious, wasn't ideal. I was so tired one morning I picked up a mug from my trailer and drank some stagnant water that had been there for the duration – so three months. I was so ill."So did Darren go fill up a reusable cup of water for Emma himself? Nope! He did the opposite: he told her to "use" her illness in the scene! She continued:
"I came in the next day and was like, 'Darren, I don't think I can do this, I'm really sick.' He was like, 'Use it for the scene.' And I turned round to the bus and was like, 'Is he joking? He is joking right?' and there was deadly silence."All of this comes at a time where the film's controversies and struggles are more apparent than ever. Executives at Paramount cut up to six diff versions following negative reactions from test screenings for US religious audiences, but Darren ended up winning the battle ensuring that his cut, his vision, will be the one the world sees.

Gorgeous & Glamorous emma watson in 'Wonderland'
Emma Watson poses for more glamor shots in Wonderland magazine’s February 2014 issue, out on newsstands February 7!
The young hot actress guest edited her own section in the magazine, which also has her as its cover star for the issue – Read what she had to say below!
On what she learned from going to school and working at the same time: “Now I really know how to take care of myself, how to be alone, how to deal with stress. If I hadn’t been through that time, I wouldn’t have got there. I never knew I had limits. You make good friends and you make bad friends, and you have to figure it all out. You realize you can’t do everything. I really did think I could do it all – commute back to the UK for Potter filming and press, then go to Brown for finals, and keep up with my friends and family. You can’t do by the way. You do have to take breaks. It’s how I became interested in meditation and yoga. I developed bedtime rituals.”
On why she doesn’t go to big parties: “I feel like I’ve been given a lot of credit where it isn’t due that I don’t like to party. The truth is that I’m genuinely a shy, socially awkward, introverted person. At a big party, I’m like Bambie in the headlights. It’s too much stimulation for me, which is why I end up going to the bathroom! I need time outs! You’ve seen me at parties, Derek. I get anxious. I’m terrible at small talk and I have a ridiculously short attention span.
